Students from around the continent are tasked to fully design and engineer a ride for small scale riders including a Project Charter, Risk Assessment, Design Reviews, and a Compliance Analysis to the ASTM F2291 Standard. This challenge puts students’ designs and planning to the test to simulate the opening day of their new ride. The scale and difficulty of this challenge, and the learning potential of the competition are unmatched in the amusement industry.
